My Dad's home is so lovely at Christmas... he festoons the chandelier with big silver bells, hung off burgandy and aubergine silk ribbons, tucks long needle pine sprigs behind the mirror... it looks like a wonderland.

He'll light any christmassy smelling candle he can lay his hands on and it smells great too!!!!

Super talented Dad also made his new fire sign...( he alternates them, they hide the obscene fake brass fake fire which he insists on keeping... it's easier to make a sign i surpose) i love what it reads

Home.... 2 days before i'm back!

I'm missing all the little things at home too , all the family pictures, my bookstack lamp that my Dad made me.... my little teddies!!!

Another thing i hate about living in Hotels at the moment is the fact i can't do any cooking ... I've got a real urge to bake some cookies x

Missing Christmas At Mum's Shop!

I'm such a home body, and working away from home this December i've missed all the Christmassy action at Mum's shop

Every year I normally manage to go and work there for a few days on the lead up to Christmas, it's a bit of a tradition, so I'm really blue. I thought I'd post a few pictures to make me feel better!!!!

Of course I'm especially missing the Christmas room!!! I'm so happy i at least got to decorate the Tree.... which is always saved for me!!!

I am suffering from an over indugance of Haribo today... I have also been watching christmas films all day , which i made my boyfriend do too and now he's making me watch the new James Bond film.... from what i can tell it's all car chase and fights ... i'm very bored !!! shoulldn't moan too much though .... it is christmas !!!!

I'm too excited about going christmas shopping next week in London. It's so much fun because i only need to go in selfridges and then that leaves loades of time for lunch and walking around the parks. Also i can stock up on Jelly Bellys! xxx
